So you’ve booked your Bridal Hair Trial. Now what? Here are some fab preparation tips from Bridal Hairstylist and Makeup Artist extraordinaire, Holly Louise.

1) "Make a mood board and narrow your hair and makeup inspiration pictures to your top 5 each! This will help me get a feel for what you like and don’t like!"

2) "When looking for inspiration pictures, try and find girls with similar hair colour and facial colourings, including eyes! What might look amazing on blonde hair will look different on dark hair." 3) "In your mood board - incorporate pictures of your bridesmaid's dresses, flowers and décor! These will all play a huge part in the style and colours used for yourself." 4) "Wear a white top (or colour of your dress), preferably off the shoulder or similar style to your dress. This will help you get a feel of what you’ll look like on the day." 5) "If you have your jewellery and hair accessories bring them with you! It will bring your look together!" 6) "Bring a bestie or family relative - They sometimes know you better than you know yourself and can often help with decision-making." 7) "Come squeaky clean. That’s right... no makeup and no greasy locks! ‘Semi dirty hair is great for styling’ IS A MYTH!! It makes things harder to style and no one wants dirty hair! Don’t be worried about things not staying - That’s what products and a professional Stylist are for. Try not to add any products to your hair or face.
